New Orleans Photography
Hi, I’m Landon, the person behind the lens.
I never really knew I had a passion for photography. It was something I just picked up one day, and over time, I grew to love it. I started with my mom’s old camera, simply taking pictures and figuring things out as I went.
Everything I know about photography is self-taught. Through trial and error, practice, and a lot of patience, I developed my skills and discovered my own style.
What started as something I did for fun has turned into something I genuinely enjoy. Photography has given me a way to capture moments, tell stories, and preserve memories that people can look back on for years to come.
And to think, it all started with my mom’s old camera.
Photography isn't my full-time job, at least not right now. I currently work at Chick-fil-A Algiers, where I've had the opportunity to take on photography projects alongside our Operator and Marketing Director.
These opportunities have allowed me to expand my experience, develop my skills, and showcase my work in a professional environment. From capturing special events to documenting moments within our restaurant and community, every opportunity has helped me grow as a photographer.
Although photography started as a hobby, I'm excited to see where it takes me. For now, I'm continuing to learn, improve, and take advantage of every opportunity that comes my way.
While I may be the main person behind the camera, I wouldn't have gotten nearly as far without the people who've supported me along the way. Whether they've helped me improve, given me new ideas, encouraged me to keep going, or simply let me use them as subjects for my photos, they've all played a part in my journey.
Carlos has played a big part in helping me grow as a photographer. He gave me a camera that he no longer used, and that simple gesture made a huge difference in my photography journey. Having that camera allowed me to experiment more, improve the quality of my pictures, and develop my skills at a much faster pace.
Michelle, Carlos's girlfriend, has also been a great supporter of my photography journey. She's given me creative ideas for pictures and has even volunteered to be my test subject whenever I wanted to try something new. Whether it's experimenting with different angles, lighting, or just random photo ideas, she's always been willing to help me figure things out.
Zoe, my girlfriend, has somehow managed to take over the role of my unofficial photography manager, but in the best way possible. She's constantly giving me new ideas, helping me figure out what pictures to take, and pushing me to try different things.
